- Vent Cleaning Brush System (LintEater rotary dryer vent cleaning systems includes long brush, a vent brush and 12 ft of connector extensions, I would also buy the 12 ft extension kit to allow for further reach.)
All the rest of these items can be bought at Home Depot.
- Aluminum 4" flexible connection hose , 20' ream . Thats what connects the dryer to the wall. make sure it's all aluminum
- 4" Clamps for attaching the Flex hose.
- Aluminum Tape. Sometimes your have air gaps.
- Furniture sliders. To slide the dryer out without scratching the floor. Usually this is for wood type floors
- Shop Vac, Home Depot. any vac that has at least 5.0 suction power rating, I like the small one with a handle and tool pocket, makes life easier, but you can use any vac since it's only job is to pick up lint.
- Ladder, Home Depot, get at least a 22ft sliding or telescoping ladder for those jobs that take you on a one story roof, or a longer one for two story houses.
- Cordless Drill, Home Depot, I always have two drills and at least two batteries for redundancy reasons. You don’t want to get stuck with a dead or broken drill. Any brand is fine.
- Knee pads, Home Depot has them for $15
- Philips and flathead screwdrivers, mostly for screw clamps that hold the flexible vents on.
- Wire snips or cutters, for shortening the flex vent.
- Face mask, there will be lots of lint dust, don’t breathe it, get a good mask for $30 at home dept.
